Computer freezes up, CPU running at 100%

I'm trying to get some music out of Itunes to put on my wife's laptop, from her desktop. Most programs run OK, but if too many are open or if I go to Itunes, it freezes up. I went to task manager and it showed CPU at 100%. Even if I start with itunes only it locks up. How can I get around this? I've done the basic cleaning with CC Cleaner, defragged, etc. Do I have to go under add/remove programs and just clear some things out? The computer is getting old and is getting slow. Can't remember how full the HD is. That's why she switched to the laptop, just want to get her music over there.

 

In the Task Manager (Processes tab), what program is running at 100%?

Local Disk shows Free Space 5.08 GB Total size 71.4 GB. I will attach the report and try to send more info later on the Task Manager
