computer freezing - strange display/noise

I've had my computer for about...2-3 years now, but only recently in the past few months it has been doing this.

Sometimes my computer will freeze without much warning, and it becomes totally unresponsive. Every thing on the screen looks just slightly blurry and gets this faint yellow/blue outline. Sometimes, it will also make a awful screech/beeps and I have to do a hard reset.

I have done scans recently and found nothing, and at first I thought it came from running heavy programs (Norton, Photoshop), but then it will do this when I'm doing something as simple as watching videos on Youtube!

I can't really show this to someone, because it happens randomly, and I can't take a screencap because the computer does not respond at all when it happens!

It's going between 135-140 Farenheit. I've had to replace the fan in my laptop before :mad

Either way I will give a good cleaning with the compressed air can
