The computer was on while the power went out today. Now when I attempt to turn it on I can hear the hard drive try to kick on, but then the warning alarm starts going off. I'm thinking the mother board may have been fried. If this is the case, is there anything I can do beside buy a new one and install it? or Is it another issue alltogether? If you need more info please tell me. Thanks

By "warnig bells" am assuming you are hearing "beep codes" ....what are they?
What is your computer? Manufacture / model number, etc.
