So basically i`ve formatted after a year or so without formatting my drive (C) alone while leaving the drive D untouched and even after the formatting my computer runs slow my firefox keeps crashing and and also running slow and all the programs are heavy and lag much more then they used to.
My computer is fast or was fast at least so i hoped formatting would have solved the slowness but it didn't i`ve ran all the tests and still the computer is slow.
I have a windows 7 x64 and here are the attachments i hope this is the correct forum for my problem:p

    P.S
I`ve gotta say i really love this forum and what you guys do here help us clueless geeks out the kindness of your hearts and i hope one day soon i have half the knowledge you guys do:wave

    1. Please explain what operations are slow! For example answer the below:

    • Is boot up slow?
    • Is shutdown slow?
    • Is browsing/surfing slow?
    • Is downloading slow?
    • Is running any application?
    • Is it also slow in safe boot mode?
    • Also are any process showing in Task Manager to be using a lot of CPU time?
    • Anything else slow?

    2. You need to tidy up your desktop. It is an easy way to lose files, an ideal place for malware to hide and can cause system degradation if you store large files here.

    3. Now I see from your logs that you are using Threatfire as your main antivirus?? I see remnants from Bitdefender that we can clear up.

    4. Please disable all anti-virus and anti-spyware programs while we do the following (re-enable when you are finished):

Run C:\MGtools\analyse.exe by double clicking on it (Note: if using Vista, don't double click, use right click and select Run As Administrator). This is really HijackThis (select Do a system scan only) and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:

    After clicking Fix exit HJT.

    5. Now use windows explorer to find and delete the below bold folders:

    • C:\ProgramData\BitDefender
    • C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\BitDefender
    • C:\Program Files\Common Files\BitDefender
    • C:\Program Files\BitDefender

    6. Also delete all files in the below bold folder except ones from the current date (Windows will not let you delete the files from the current day).
    7. Now run the C:\MGtools\GetLogs.bat file by double clicking on it. Then attach the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that will be created by running this.

I am not seeing any signs of malware in those logs, so no doubt after reviewing your next set of logs, all being well, I will be giving you final clean instructions to follow.

    * Is boot up slow?slower then ussual
    * Is shutdown slow?slower then ussual
    * Is browsing/surfing slow?yes in speed and opening multiple tabs or new links
    * Is downloading slow?yes
    * Is running any application?yes
    * Is it also slow in safe boot mode?no
    * Also are any process showing in Task Manager to be using a lot of CPU time?System idle process is using 99 CPU and svchost is using 100k ram if that matters
    * Anything else slow?all in all everything slower

No ThreatFire i`ve read a long time ago is usefull tool that doesnt interupt with the main anti virus just adds more protection(correct me if i am wrong please) but bitdefender internet security 2010 is my main and working up to date protection, they are working both together.

Here is the new log without the uhh fixing of the bitdefender because it is working and defending and is not just a remnant.

Well in your last set of logs it was not showing up in the installed programs list in the newfiles.log or in the getunkey.log, but I see that it is showing now.

The reason for your slowness could be that you have spybot search and destroy's TeaTimer running ...so along with ThreatFire, that may be some of the cause. Plus Advanced System Optimizer 3 is running. May also contribute to it.

I would just dump Threatfire if I were you and see how things go after that. Either way, your logs are clean and if you wish you can continue to discuss the slowness of your computer in the software forum :)

If you are not having any other malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep SUPERAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware. Unless you purchase them, they provide no protection. They do not use any significant amount of resources ( except a little disk space ) until you run a scan.
    2. If we used Pocket Killbox during your cleanup, do the below
      • Run Pocket Killbox and select File, Cleanup, Delete All Backups
    3. If we had you use ComboFix, uninstall ComboFix (This uninstall will only work as written if you installed ComboFix on your Desktop like we requested.)
      • Click START then RUN and enter the below into the run box and then click OK. Note the quotes are required
      • "%userprofile%\Desktop\combofix" /uninstall
        • Notes: The space between the combofix" and the /uninstall, it must be there.
        • This will uninstall ComboFix and also reset hidden files and folders settings back to Windows defaults.
    4. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    5. If we had you download any registry patches like fixme.reg or fixWLK.reg (or any others), you can delete these files now.
    6. If running Vista, it is time to make sure you have reenabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    7. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis.
    8. Goto the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    9. If you are running Win 7, Vista, Windows XP or Windows ME, do the below:
      • Refer to the cleaning procedures in step 3 the READ ME for your Window version and see the instructions to Disable System Restore which will flush your Restore Points.
      • Then reboot and Enable System Restore to create a new clean Restore Point.
    10. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
