Computer shuts down when any game loads up

    When I load up a game on my computer, it shuts off. I can't boot it until I physically shut off the power supply and turn it back on. It only happens when I get IN game, at menu screens it's fine. I've tried changing video cards, but that did not fix it, and it is not a heat issue. I am at a loss at what the problem could be. I've looked around, saw a thread with similar issue,

    My system
    Windows 7 8 GB of RAM
    AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor 2.20 GHz
    Nvidia GTS 450
    680 Watt power supply

    Hi

    Does your PC work ok if you do not load a game up?

    In Device Manager do you have any yellow ! marks and if so by what device?
    What are your PC temps as in GPU and CPU? can use this to find them out.
