hello, i recently (yesterday) had problems where my monitor would just go black, (as if hibernating or something, but sound (in headphones) would continue, then stop while i played a game, nothing worked unless i turned off the pc then back on again, but it kept happening over and over, it started happening after i viewed a couple anime episodes on Dailymotion.com , not sure if thats the cause or not ,

i read through the read and run me first topic, and have done all the steps from preliminary up to step 8, also a note. after i did the "basic computer maintenance everyone should do , and the preliminary steps" my problem seemed to be gone, but i figured ill post anyway in case something is still hidden in my pc or something, or someone else is having the same problem. here are the log files

Problems like you mentioned would not be caused by malware. And you logs do not show any malware. Since your problem is gone it is not any issue anyway. If it returns, I would suggest you post in the Hardware Forum.

You do however need to uninstall the below old Sun Java versions as requested in the READ ME:
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 10
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 11
    J2SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Update 6

Also you should uninstall the CounterSpy trial now.

hey chaslang, i did the final procedures "protect yourself from malware " or something like that, and installed a-squared free, and it picked up this

    Trojan-Dropper.win32.Glue

    Adware.win32.Dm.i

It may or may not have been a problem! Without seeing a log that shows exactly what was found and where it was found, I really cannot comment on it.

Just looks like a game to me which is not a problem unless the game itself is infected. If it really came from HP, I doubt it was a problem. At anyrate, you probably don't need it unless you play that game. And if you do play the game, I would have thought you would recognize the file name.

i dont really play any of the HP games that came with my pc, is the trojan -dropper part of the game too? or should i delete that one

I doubt it is a trojan! If you don't play the games then uninstall or delete them. The same logic applies to any other software installed on your PC. If you don't need it or use it, uninstall it.
