computer slow, but not when surfing

    when I open a program in windows xp, my computer takes like 2 minutes to load that program whether it's explorer, mozilla or word. However when it is open, it is running fine. for example, surfing the net, I'm smoking right along.

    I just scanned for viruses, found 0, I also ran mbam which found 2 issues and cleared them right up. I then ran combofix and that still didn't speed it up much at all.

    I am including my logs, hopefully someone out there can get me an answer as to why it is so slow.

    Also I have a couple questions about whose computer you are fixing. Are you attempting to use our free service to help you run a business??? Based on your email signup at majorgeeks @ cybersspot.com , I would question your intentions. How do you plan on supporting your customers if you do not know how to perform malware removal and computer repairs on your own.
