I recently purchased my notebook but it was the last one so I took the one they had on display. They said it would take a few hours before I get it because they had to do a system restore so I said I would just come back for it the next day. My problem is in regards to tracking cookies problem that keeps showing on my computer. Symantec detects it and resolves it, but it shows up again each scan. They are also tracking cookies that has the store's/company's name in it. I also cant get rid of their name under 'Users' and change it. If they did a system restore should I be having these problems? How do I get rid of the tracking cookie and edit 'Users'? Thank you.

edit: I downloaded and ran Spybot and it removed the cookies. I ran it again to make sure and it's still clean. So my only problem is the 'Users' part. Should I post that problem elsewhere? Thanks

None of this is really a malware problems. First cookies are not problems. See the info in step 11 of this link: How to Protect yourself from malware!

If you have administrator priviledges on the user account you are logging in with than just delete the stores user account. And yes as implied above this is not an issue for this forum.
