Computer wont post. Strange...

OK so here we go.

My computer wont post at all. I turn it on and it brings up the first screen, shows my CPU and then totally freezes. It detects the cpu but then nothing else appears on screen, no beeps, I cant enter into setup or boot menu. Nothing. All I see is the normal stuff at the top and my CPU type and then nothing more.

Specs:
Shuttle SN95G5 V1.3
AMD Athlon XP 64 3800+
Corsair XMS Dual 512s
BFG Tech 6800 GT OC
Seagate 160GB Barracuda
Lite-On DVD-R/

I've never seen this sort of behavior before and any and all help is greatly appreciated!

unplug any/all usb cables. see if it'll boot then.
i have a customers computer doing that to me, happened after i installed sp2 for xp.
today, i will install pci usb port card, to see if it'll boot that way. if not, i'll have to reinstall windows
