I was just trying to turn on another computer in the house and it wouldn't power up. Made sure the switch on the PSU was "on" but hitting the case's power button wasn't doing anything. I opened the case up and the power supply feels quite warm. Could it've burned out suddenly when we just tried to turn it on? The motherboard looks fine (no scorch marks) and none of the other components feel hot.

(EDIT-) I took the PSU out to test it on its own, and when I plugged it into a power cord there was a loud pop and a spark. I can hear something rattling around in it now, too. I think it's a dead PSU...
