Well.... it's been so long that I did it that I don't remember everything.
I just did a re-install of XP-SP2 and wanted to connect to MSN to get SP3.

    But, can't connect to Internet.
I'm using FIOS so I don't need to set up anything for dial in and I did verify that the LAN settings are good.

    What am I forgetting?

    (Thanks in advance!!!)

Is your ethernet and/or wireless card working? You did not mention drivers and your post is a bit vague about the exact nature of your problem.

Everything is working as far as I know - the 1394 shows that it is connected.
It's a desktop - no wireless. Drivers should all be good to go.

When I launch IE - I get 'Page Cannot Be Displayed'.

Try a hard reset of your connection.
Power off your PC and your modem.
Wait several minutes then power your modem back up.
When all lights are burning steady, power up your PC.

1394? You're using Firewire to connect?
