Please feel free to edit the title to something more relevant and informative but i still dont know what i think happened

I'm kinda freaked out by something that happened yesterday and want to make sure its just some kind of mistake or correct security issues and prevent it from happening to me if it wasn't just some benign fluke.

I had a number of firefox tabs open along with skype and some other programs and tried to search an image by keywords using the google search feature

When i hit enter it redirected from whatever page was open on the current tab and took me to the google search page like expected. when i clicked on image to view those results i noticed something very strange.

It said i was logged in as _______@yahoo.com but the email address was not mine but someone else's, one of my contacts on skype.

(I also noticed that the safe search level was not set to the one i commonly use for whatever that's worth)

I immediately logged out but since have been wondering about it and getting pretty paranoid

1 Why did it say i was logged in as someone who has never used my computer that i have been in contact with only via skype?

    2. Would i have actually been able to go into his email account or was this just a cosmetic error and there is no real security issue?

I will be attaching logs below as advised as i have time to post them

    Thank you,
    Joe

these steps didnt go as described.
MBAM didnt give me an option to show results.

I just got a "OK" pop up that said something like "no malicious items were found. scan complete" or something along those lines.

MBAM also generated no new log (just showing one from April 2010, last time i used it)

You can consider this resolved and lock it.

I'm pretty sure the issue arose in a pretty direct and obvious way that Im a bit embarrassed not to have thought of sooner.

The skype contact had previously tried to distribute a video hosted on youtube semi privately by making permissions on a video private and distributing the login info for the youtube account that hosted the video.

Obviously (looking back now) i had logged in and was going to watch the video, but got distracted before i did and completely forgot about it after a long week (having only C+P the login info initially)

So my apologies for sharing my unnecessary confusion with anyone else who has been baffled by what was going on

I would like to say thank you to everyone who was willing to help though as i was feeling very much out of my comfort zone and pretty grateful to have more savvy people to consult in that situation.

    Thank you very much,
    Joe
