    I'm trying to connect to a newly installed MySQL database on our server for our local intranet site.

    Nothing seems to be working. I keep getting this error.

    [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified

    Here's the code for the connection string I had.

    DBconn.connectionstring = "Provider=MSDASQL; DRIVER={MySQL ODBC 3.51 Driver};SERVER=localhost; DATABASE=intranet; UID = mrobison;PASSWORD=password; OPTION=3"

    DBconn.Open

    Thanks for your help!

    That link keeps timing out on me. What I don't understand is why this connection string will now work, and how do I do it an alternate way.

    Thanks.

    Okay, I got past the initial connectionstring error, but now I am getting this:

    I'm getting this error, which has nothing to do with the code I wrote.

    Any ideas?
