Connecting Dreamcast?

    i know this may be a really odd question but i recently got a new(old) dreamcast and i would like to hook it up to the internet....but i use broadband and i was wondering if anyone could give me a step by step guide to connecting my dreamcast up to my broadband connection....and if possible i would like to go straight from my pc and not have to run from a router....thanks
