connection interruptions

whenever i am downloading or connected to something throught the internet for extended periods of time the connection will just drop. this mostly happens when downloading things from websites and when im playing a game connected to Battle.net in game by Blizzard. i dont know what could be causing this but it gets really annoying having to reconnect to battle.net or restarting a large download. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using dial-up?
Also, my friend friend gets disconnected from battle.net. The reason he gets disconnected from it is because his ISP doesn't have that great of service.

 

i have SBC yahoo DSL.
