    Hi,
My Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit system is randomly rebooting, as usual always when in the middle of typing something.

The windows help systems offeres http://wer.microsoft.com/responses/...d36d5d7&Bucket=0x8E_nt!ExDeferredFreePool+107

stating drivers, I have updated the graphics drivers, chip set drives and network drivers but no success.
    The system is a Zoostorm
    Pentium 2.70Ghz, Sandy bridge 32nm
    4.00 GB DDR3 ram,
    Motherboard is Asus P8H61-MX
    Intel HD Graphics (intergrated)
    1 X Internal iTB WD10EURX HDD
1 X External Western Digital My Book

    2 Monitors 1 connected by D-sub, 1 by DVI
    Mouse and keyboard (microsoft)

I am running out of ideas of what to try now.

    md2lgyk I can't follow the rules

Failing hard drive? Loose or defective memory stick? Loose connector somewhere? What you describe does not sound like a software problem.

    Greetings, Captain Drift...

In addition to the advice already given, a couple of things you might try:

    1. Navigate to Control Panel > System > Advanced system settings > Advanced > Startup and Recovery settings. Make sure 'Automatically restart' is not checked, and 'Write debugging information' is set for 'Small memory dump'.

    2. Boot your machine into Safe Mode (or Safe Mode w/Networking), run it through some paces and see if you can cut your software troubleshooting in half.

    Hi, Thanks for the solutions,
I have turned off the restarting and looked in event manager and all the red X ones point to DLL files.
When running SFC it was unable to check the DLL files as I do not have the windows disc that was used to install this version. This is a genuine version with a corporate licence.
Is there anyother way to check the DLL files?

    the Hard drive is
    Internal = WD10EURX-63FH1YO

    Hi Falconattack,
I have followed the Microsoft advice for this error and found it was looking for an INF file that was not on my system,
I have removed from device manager in safe mode, rebooted, cancelled the instalation, installed the drivers from the Asus website, rebooted and since 1;30 no blue screen.
Just chrome and silverlight in chrome crashing now.

Thanks for the Help so far.

    today I am getting 0X0000008E
I will be replacing the memory stick as my issues only happen when I have 7 + chrome tabs, Outlook 2007, 3 + IE8 tabs, Skype and a call tracking software.
    The system has 1 4GB DDR3 Stick.

You must follow my 7th post ensuring what is the faulty ram my friend , even when the memtest86 is started you must leave it for 5 hours at least :wave

This points to a driver problem, not RAM.
If RAM were faulty, you'd have the same problem in safe mode.
