Continuing a download that stopped

Hello,
I was recently downloading a large file, the Company of heroes demo, which weighs in at 1.8 GB, and firefox crashed at 93%. I still have the .part file, it's 1.58 GB, and was wondering if there was any way to continue the download. It took me 7 hours :'(.

Open, FF, then hit CTRL + j, then click the re-try button.

Otherwise, ye may have to use an alternative download program. FF 3.0 MAY have a resume download built into it.

Fresh download doesnt save the temporary files as .part :-\, any other ideas?

 

Fresh download, will need to download the file fresh. It won't load the .part file.

 

Is there anything that will load the part file?

 

From a quick check, unfortunately, no.
