control panel beening weird in windows 7

i had windows 7 for few weeks now i tryed geting into my control panel today when i tryed run programs or something more in it i get windows explorer has stoped working then windows explorer restarting any thing i hit in control panel it stops working gives the windows explorer has stop working thing

only thing i done on pc was installed divx and codec pack

i had one virus few days back but it was remove by BitDefender that was few days back i did spyware scan with superantispyware & malwarebytes

only tracking cookies and one file was showed removed

so am not sure whats done it but am thinking of reinstalling windows just not done it yet.
