In the Control Panel there is an icon for Symantic LiveUpdate but the program is removed from the Add/Remove Programs list.

How do I remove the entry in the Control Panel?

I found the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility 7.2 to remove entries in the Add/Remove Programs dialog box, super utility.

I don't know about your Inspiron B130 but I have an Inspiron 1150 here that has a hidden partition. It is PC Restore and it is Symantec (who took over Ghost).
Are you sure that icon has nothing to do with PCRestore?
Usually when any Symantec product is installed, that Live Update icon comes along.
