hi, I was wondering if there is freeware or some tips on how to convert mp3 files to a lower quality so they can be heard through a Bluetooth headset. the audio player on the phone says it can play music through the headset but it must be a 8 khz and I know most mp3 files are 192 kbps.? anyone?

I have now idea about the khz or anything, but this link will take you to an app called 'BURRRN' that does all kinds of audio conversions.....

It's primarily for converting mp3's and other formats to std. audio format and burning to CD's, but it may serve your purposes: burn your tunes to a CDRW and move 'em into the phone, erase the CDRW disc, repeat.....
