What brand of DVD-R are you using?

 

Uninstall the VSO program, purge the registry of VSO and ConvertX footprints (use an app like the free but excellent registry registrar manager to do it seconds), reinstall ConvertX. Another thing you can try is to burn one of your disks on another computer. I recently had three bad disk in a row, using the cheap but unreliable Memorex brand. If you have a re-writeable disk, trying burning some files onto it to rule out a defective optical drive.

 

iv tryed 3 different disks im just not sure what the error is all of a sudden.is there another way to tell if my burner craped out.

When an optical drive dies, it makes a clicking sound. If you have another machine swap it out to test. If you don't have a second machine, maybe a friend is willing to temporarily switch. Of course, you both would need to have the driver on hand. You did try reinstalling the driver. right? And you did try burning with another burner software, like Windows Media Player, right? If Windows Media Player or freeware IMGBurn also fails to burn a disk, then it's probably a hardware issue.
