converting lotus to excel

On my previous computer---I had lotus 123 installed---I had created a worksheet using it and had saved this worksheet to a floppy---since then---my previous computer died and now I am using one that has excel installed---what i am trying to do is using the floppy-- to get excel to load said floppy but i keep getting the message the it cannot open this file---does anyone know how I can convert this lotus loaded floppy onto an excel worksheet? I had looked for an answer but to no avail---any and all help would be greatly appreciated---thank you in advance

for the record:
I have a floppy A that has lotus worksheet loaded onto it
I need to convert it to excel and or get it to load onto my excel program
I no longer have the Lotus program disk or I would have installed it.

Excel can import some lotus files but not 123 multisheets.

Save a copy of the file, renamed as mysheet.txt and post it here at MG.

If some Geek doesn't convert it overnight, I'll try it tomorrow.
