Cookies and My Recent Documents folders

XPsp2. In Documents and Settings, 'my name' folder, these two folders are hidden as protected system folders. I put up a previous thread about the seemingly missing Cookies folder, but I found it hidden. I don't recall these two folders being hidden, and I didn't hide them. Wonder if something triggered Windows to hide them, or if they should be hidden at all. Went to the folders properties tab but am unable to remove the hidden attribute...checkbox is faded. It's marked read only as well. Anyone have info on this?

 

Are you using IE? Don't hack & slash. Let the program options do the work. click start > control... > internet > general tab > delete cookies, advanced tab > security > empty temp internet... ok
