I have xp pro running on a compaq 3000+amd athlon, 1mg ram. I have AVG 7.5 Internet Security Suite.

One of my problems started when my son wanted to sign onto www.iknowthat.com and we got the message cookies are not enabled. I did a search and tried changing the options under the browser (firefox) and netscape and ie. I even tried the 'ask for permission' and allow 3rd party cookies but It still says I don't have cookies installed. Other websites would ask for permission to set a cookie but iknowthat just kept flashing it's msg. I tried clearing all cookies and trying again.

I also could not get to disney.com. I get a black screen with the message that they are transferring data....

I reinstalled shockwave(after uninstalling) I did the same for java

Meanwhile, I also have been trying to enable share printers with my laptop. I keep getting 'invalid printer' . I figured this could be a firewall problem so i uninstalled AVG.

I went and followed the instructions for malware removal (I could not delete viewpoint toolbar from add/remove under control panel or CCleaner). Several malware problems were found and were cleaned. I still cannot get to iknowthat.com and disney is still black, but i can get to about 90% of other places.

After following the instructions for walware removal ( I had no problems running them) I get this error: Generic host process for win32 services has encountered a problem and needs to close. then I get this error msg: AVG firewall has stopped.

I went to check to see if the windows firewall was running and I get this msg:
Windows cannot start the ICS service. I can not start the AVG in it's control panel. AVG says an error occurred and cannot start(1450)

After running walware instructions I can get to disney but I have no audio. I went to the sounds and audio panel it says I have no audio device. What gives, I used to.

I would greatly appreciate any help. I've uploaded combofix.txt and mglogs.zip but i cannot find saslog.txt(I did a search for it)

    Hi jvhumphreys!
    Welcome to Major Geeks!

I think you should go through the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST and attach the requested logs. This will give us a better idea what's going on in your computer. It sounds like it could be malware.
