Cooling fan comes on too often.

    Whenever I play games on the PC, online or downloaded, the fan cycles about once every 5 minutes. They are just simple games with basic graphics.
    The video card is just the on board one that came with the computer, I imagine that a real video card, however basic, might do the trick?
    The sensors put the temps over 50C.

    Have you had a look in the case to see how much dust buildup is on everything?
    It's amazing how it builds up over time.
    Try cleaning out your case of dust and clean up all the fans, heatsinks and air intakes into the case.

    I've already done that, there wasn't much dust to begin with.

    Is this an issue with the on board video card using too much resource from the mobo?
