Copied DVD doesn't have the subtitles. Please help.

I have a dvd I'd like to put into my iPod for travel, but it is in another language. When I used Handbrake to copy it, the subtitles didn't copy. Can somebody help me with this issue?

Of course if the OP has a Mac, DVDFlick won't work. (new posters sometimes post Mac problems in the PC part of the forum).
Beeker_8op, it helps if we know what OS you are running.

 

Forget about DVD Flick in this case. It will not make any video for an iPod.

My OS is 10.4.11. (I know, it's old.)
I have the free version of Handbrake. Will that still work with the free version?

The free version is the only version, and yes, it will work.

 

Have you changed browsers?
When I went to Chrome, they wouldn't work either.
They do with Firefox.

 

No, I'm still using FF v5. I know they worked because I was helping someone troubleshoot who could not post smilies and I had no problem a few weeks ago. Now I have to find that thread and figure out what changed on my end since that time.

 

I know this is old, but I need to revisit it.
How do I get it to work? Is there an option I need to select to make it work?
