If you look at http://www.nowsmart.com/arwizard/ you can find a nice program that copies the sound coming through your sound card as it's being played. Although I like the program, it stops recording after 3 minutes because I didn't pay the $25 for it. Sometimes when i'm recording Voice conversations through my Instant messenger, I lose the rest of the sentance. I tryed using the "Cut" method which stops recording and then starts another one without pause, and then pasting the two parts together, but then I lost the whole word. If anyone knows of a program like this, but free without random noises being played every few minutes due to lack of having payed, then reference to such a thing would be greatly appreciated.

I'm doing this from memory, but I think there is a freeware program called Messer that will record from soundcard.

Not sure if it has the desired features, but worth a look.
