coreldrawX3 shareware

    I'm kinda new to the world of freeware/shareware. I just downloaded some graphics software (coreldraw X3) and it requires a KEY to use. I thought this stuff was free to use?! any suggestions?

    Hi

    Freeware = Free ( some still need a licence key, in the case of Avast AntiVirus, you just register and they send you free key )
    Ad-Aware = Free but advert based
    Shareware = Free to test for a number of days ( anything from 10 -30 days ) then you need to buy it or licence key.
    Retail = Buy


    In the case of Coral Draw x3 as its older that 2yrs then its free to test period is likely over and its now on install needing a licence key to run it.


    Some others here are free http://www.majorgeeks.com/download.php?id=37 look fo the tag "freeware" and if you want a like application to Coral Draw thats FREE then try out Inkscape
