Corsair XMS help

    building a new rig and I need help, can't figure out the dif betwen these 3:

    TWINX1024-3200C2PT
    TWINX1024-3200C2
    TWINX1024-3200C2PRO


    I don't plan to overclock. Thank you

    The difference between the first two is the color of the heatsink. The one ending in PT has a silver colored heatsink. The middle one is black.

    The PRO memory has LEDs on the top. They are really just a gimmick. If you want to spend some extra money on the RAM, go for the LL (low latency) version rather than the PRO.

    In any case, I would go with the cheaper one. There is little difference between them.

    They also make LLPRO memory, which is low latency, with LEDs.

    The LEDs are a gimmick, but a neat one ;)

    I have the PC3500LLPRO ram.
