Counter strike and half life keychanger help!!

Hi, (I am from sweden so excuse me if i write something wrong...)
Well, i need help using this thing called the counter strike and half life keychanger... i just don't get it how to do...
i took some cd keys of different web sites and put the cd keys into the keychanger and then i tested if it would go on "steam"...
i hav the counter strike source in game on my computer but it would'nt work...
i need a cd-key to play the game but how do i do with the keychanger?+
