    Hi

Many games still need DirectX 9 files, even though you have DirectX11 in Windows 7, so install the DirectX9 Redistributable HERE and try the game again,

Additionally, your graphics chipset was designed circa 2003/2004 and there is no way that it will fully utilise Directx 10 or 11 (at worst, it will run in an emulated (software) mode (very slow)),crash or fail to load when trying to play recent games.

Set the desktop resolution and game resolution to 16 bit for the best chances of getting a game to run. Download the latest drivers from Intel (Windows drivers have no OpenGL support). On Vista, Crashday with 1.1 patch and the no Intro patch were needed, though there may be better patches now.

LOL. 16 bit sounds low but it's not as bad as you think, it's the most compatible and uses less video RAM so gives you the best chance :)

I have the same problem, but I run Vista. When I look at the crashwin log file it says File Missing or Corrupted! (file crshpath.ini) which is the file that tells the game where the application is. I get the same error message, but how is the message connected to the log file? I don't understand it.
