    Hi,

I would like to assign a number of programs short cut keys ie Winamp - Ctrl + W etc.

How would i go about doing this. I know this can be done as i have a program already that has given itself a shortcut key upon installation.

    Thanks

Forget shortcuts and impossible to remember keyboard combinations, Try SlickRun

    Icon and Shortcut substitute.

Best and most useful program I have ever come across. [IMG] [IMG]

    SlickRun v3.5.3.25. www.bayden.com/dl/sr-upgrade.exe

and do away with your icons/keyboard shortcuts, altogether.
I have 170+ magicWords instead of icons.

Works like a charm. No need for most of the shortcuts on your startup page.
"X" gets me Excel, "IE" starts Internet Explorer", "time" sychronises my PC with atomic time. "jump" takes me to my USB jump drive, "prog" gets Program Files folder, "MyD" = MyDocuments folder, "MyP" = MyPictures, etc., etc., etc.

PS: I'm really lost when I have to use another PC without SlickRun. I'm so used to SlickRun, and how it speeds up your work, that going through menus, and drop down tabs, etc., is really a drag. Bazza

Glad you liked it, Broken Arrows.
Be warned, it will spoil you. :) ;)
    It has me.
I live and learn. I've never used Alt-Tab, though. Should try it, I suppose.
I simply type my "magicword" in the SlickRun box and <enter>. Bazza
