Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 Speakers HELP

    Ok here is the deal hope someone can help.
    I recently purchased Creative Inspire T7700 7.1 Speakers and for some reason i can't get 3 to work. Now im using onboard sound RealtekAC97 Audio which is meant to support 8chanell mode. Even if it didn't there is an option to drop it to 5.1 or such. Now am i plugging something in the wrong way or what. The configuration at the back is Mic/Subwoofer, Front, Rear. Been to their website but theyre bunch of idiots. Before i lose it and return the stuff I'd like to see if anyone has an idea?
