Creative x-fi accompanying software being a bitch

I have just managed to install a creative x-fi xtreme music PCI-e soundcard, which has a "flexijack", a jack that can double as a line in or a mic in, depending on how it is set from the accompanying software. I installed this software, the "Creative Console", but on the main menu, there is supposedly (as i have learnt from the thing's manual, and from trolling many forums) supposed to be a "Jacks" button, which takes the user to a menu where this Flexijack can be configured. However, my software does not have this particular button. I have updated the software to the most recent version, but still this damned button will not appear. I checked Creative's website, but they don't seem to offer free downloads of the software that accompanies their products, though i could have missed it as their website and support are not very user friendly. Can anyone please help me, I need to get this mic working ASAP!
