Curious about something

    After reading this forum over a period of time, I'm curious about something:

    Even after using the "standard" malware removal programs that are used here, I found that Rogue Killer by Tigzy found more things to fix.....but I don't see it used here as a standard approach.

    What am I missing?

    BTW, I (pretty obviously) have no link, entanglement, obligation, to/with Rogue Killer / Tigzy.

    It's in our arsenal, Doc, but it just hasn't been used yet that I know of. Most of our other scanning tools do a good job of finding what we need to find. Chaslang may have a comment on this.

    RogueKiller has been used in our forum when it was felt it was needed. It is not part of our standard cleaning process because the other tools we run are more comprehensive and don't just focus on rogues. RogueKiller can sometimes be helpful to get started when an infection is blocking the execution of programs.
