CWShredder took care of start page.....but still have files in "my favorites"

    I have run several different spyware/adware programs and my coolwebsearch was never removed. I found this "CWShredder" today and ran it and it took care of my hijacked start page, but there are still 3 folders that keep appearing in my "favorites". I'll delete them, and they will stay deleted until I reboot my system, then they are right back where they were. I have no idea where theses files came from........one says "free porn", on says "sex tour to prague" and the last says "websearch", which I know is affiliated with coolwebsearch. I was horrified to walk in while my 6 year old was playing games and these raunchy pop ups with naked women were all over the screen, and now I can't get rid of them. I'm not sure what he clicked on, but I would really appreciate it if somebody could help me get rid of them for good. Thanks.

    Never mind........I went through all of programs one last time.......rebooted, and they are gone now. I guess the CWShredder did take care of it. Thanks.

    To be on the safe side you may want to follow all the steps in this Sticky thread < READ ME FIRST: Basic Spyware, Trojan And Virus Removal >

    If you already have any of the programs linked in the tutorial please double check your version to make sure you have the latest one and that you have any/all updates for the programs.

    NOTE: In order to resolve the issues you are having it is very important that you at least try to perform all the steps as outlined. If you have any difficulty please post back letting us know what steps you have completed, what you found while doing the scans if anything and details about any problems you have encountered in completing the steps. The more details you can provide the better.
