D-Link DWL-650 issue. no WPA? How to workaround?

    Doing some google searches on this plain/jane DWL-650 'airport' pcmcia card, there is supposedly another source of drivers vs. D-link's own, but I have not been able to find a download yet. At issue is that the driver currently installed [was the last one D-link offered, years back] is dumb to WPA Personal type security. so ... dead on arrival. can't properly pickup my router and interrogate security type. :cry

    OS is XP Pro SP3. System is compaq presario notebook 2110US

    can anyone help me?
