Dad is not computer savy

    I have a jvc digital video camera and am trying to locate software for it. It is model #dvl817U does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks in advance

    Mason55 have you tried contacting JVC? You could try their web site to see if that is any help.

    Didn't the camera come with software? Usually the manufacturer provides software for their products and come as part of the package when you buy it.

    Just another thought, I assume it has a connector lead for USB. If so have you tried connecting it to the computer? I have a Sony and I don't use their software, XP picks it up automatically when I connect to the USB port.
