I don't know where this thing came from, and I can't seem to find any reference to it at other Tech Sites. What I have is a small Icon that pops up when I attempt to look at pages at various web sites. The Icon resembles a miniature monitor screen which has a small yellow area and a red X across the monitor icon. It just pops up for a moment when I try to look at a page, and then disappears. The whole icon is probably only an inch square. I have Norton System Works, Spybot, Spywareblaster, Ad-aware, and CW Shredder Installed, and I can't get rid of this thing. Does anyone know where this pop up page blocker originated from and how I can get rid of it?

Nope Chas.....that's not the one. It resembles a page on a monitor, there's also a little square yellow area in the middle of the miniature monitor screen, and there's a red X across all of it. Thanks though........

Alrite, Iv dealt with many computers with SpyWare on it....
Its an EASY fix once you have dealt with it and have picked the tools you like.
    Heres my favorite tools:
    SpyBot
    Ad-Ware
    Pest-Patrol (Full Version)
    SpySweeper
    Zone-Alarm
and the all time greatest! HijackThis

I take it by what you say you have, you do not have HijackThis
Download it than i'll tell you how to use and what to delete so you dont screw your computer up so it doesn't start up again :)

Okay! You mention having all of these tools " Norton System Works, Spybot, Spywareblaster, Ad-aware, and CW Shredder". Are they all up to date with current versions, reference lists, etc. And have you run full scans (not the same thing as having them installed and running)? And have you run them in safe mode?

My first guess is that your Ad-Ware or S&D keep deleting it, than in about 5 minutes it connects to the internet and downloads itself again.
This is where Zone Alarm comes in, It will tell you when something is trying to connect to the internet, you can ethor Allow access to it if you know what it is, Or deny Access if you dont.
HijackThis will most likely see where it is installed and where the Pop-Up Add installs itself again during a reboot. Its probably been downloaded under a "Run Once Program", you'll know what im talking about once you get HijackThis.

If the answer to all my questions are yes:
    - read these guidelines on posting HijackThis logs (must be as an attachment)
    - download HijackThis
    - post your HijackThis log attachment

Well.....this not so computer literate guy finally found out how to get my hijack results posted. Any assistance on what I can remove from this list will be greatly appreciated. Thanks........

Edited by chaslang: HJT log deleted. Wrong version of HijackThis and not an attachment.

Please follow directions. I gave you a link to get correct version of HijackThis and you did not use it. And I said it must be added as an attachment. You also did not follow the directions in the thread I pointed you to. You have a bunch of stuff running you should have shut down.
    Read the thread again.

Oh well....I'll help you out and put the attachment here for you. But you need to learn to do it right and get the proper version of HJT too.

One item I see that must be removed is C:\Program Files\CasinoOnline\CsRemnd.exe.
Check Add/Remove programs to see if there is an uninstaller for this CasinoOnline stuff. They may call it something different. Let me know what you find. A manual approach may be needed.
