Data.cab corrupt in Final Fantasy XI

I just downloaded Final Fantasy XI via the official website and a buddy pass download pass. After downloading, I tried to install the program and I get an error message saying Data1.cab is corrupt, or something along those lines. Is there anything I can do other then download the program all over again? Please help!

I wasn't aware you could just download the full game from the website, would you mind linking this offical site you got it from...or was this game obtained illegally?

That does not have the full download, in fact I dont even think it has a demo
Obviously the game was obtained illegally, and we cant help you with pirated games.

 

It wasn't, the site I downloaded from was http://www.playonline.com/ff11us/download/trial/index.html . Its part of the buddy pass trial offer.

 

I see, well in that case my apologies, but please do be more elaborate. We have very strict rules here about pirated software and if a user is even suspected a bit, they will get no help and the thread will be locked.

Well first thing I would do is contact SoE and see if maybe the download itself is corrupt, maybe they can send you that file so you can download it seperately, other than that all I can really suggest is redownload it.
