Data Execution Prevention has rendered my PC inoperable

I am experiencing major problems with one of my home PC's. I am running Windows XP Home Edition c/w SP3.

It began today with my AVG (Free Edition) detecting numerous trojans on this machine. AVG identified them as various versions of Trojan:Heur.

I have previously removed Malware from one of my PC's with the help of this forum, so I began the removal procedure by following the "Read and Run Me First" Thread. I was able to install and run SuperAntiSpyware and obtain a log, and I was also able to install and run Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and obtain a log. Both applications discovered and cleaned some malicious items from my machine.

Here is where I ran into problems...

When my PC went through a re-boot after the Anti-Malware, it came up with a black screen with a small Windows box in the center, requiring me to logon with a userid and password. This has never come up on this machine before (this machine is not password protected). I was able to log on with the default user and no password. However, the following message box immediately came up:

Data Execution Prevention - Microsoft Windows

To help protect your computer, Windows has closed the following program.
    Name: Unserinit Logon
    Publisher: Microsoft Corporation

When I acknowledged this message, I then got the standard Windows message stating that the Userinit Logon application has closed (& asks whether or not I want to send a report to Microsoft). Following that message, my machine sat in limbo with no task bar etc. I could only do a hard power-down, and when I reboot in normal mode the above continually happens.

I am able to boot the PC in safe mode, which I did. However, when I tried to run the next step as outlined in the Windows XP Cleaning Procedure thread (which is to install and run ComboFix) I received multitudes of errors, and ComboFix would not run. I am suspecting that ComboFix is not meant to run in safe mode.

This is where I am now stuck. For what it is worth, I have attached the 2 logs that I was able to get from SuperAntiSpyware and Malwarebytes Anti-Malware.

I would greatly appreciate any help that can be offered to get my PC back up and running. Thanks in advance.

An update since my original post 2 days ago. After reviewing the state of my PC further, it became apparent that it was infected with the "Virut" virus. Upon reading further about Virut both in this forum and others, the consensus is that this is a nasty virus and the best bet is to re-format and re-load Windows.

So I have proceeded with doing this. This thread can be closed.
