    I ran the steps in "Read & Run Me First Malware Removal Guide (incl. Spyware, Virus, Trojan, Hijacker)"

    The problems I had was that the date/time went to the year 2036. This was after I turned off my anti virus program, Avast.

    The issues were slow running programs, programs 'not responding' and no network ie; no access to NAS, no internet and no online activity. All the while the wifi icon was showing active in the bottom left of the screen.

    Here are the reports from the Malware removal guide. Thank you in advance for any advice/assistance.

    Rerun RogueKiller and remove these items:

    ¤¤¤ Files : 2 ¤¤¤
    [Tr.Gen0][File] C:\Users\Ben\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\updates\3.4.8_42449\utorrentie.exe -> Found
    [Tr.Gen0][File] C:\Users\Ben\AppData\Roaming\uTorrent\updates\3.4.9_42923\utorrentie.exe -> Found

    Reboot and rescan with RogueKiller and attach the new log.
