Date Format (Month/Day/Year)

Hi!
Maybe it's just my imagination, I think I heard or saw somewhere that it's possible to change the date format in the computer and e-mail program. I prefer to have everything in the computer appear as;
Month/Day/Year
Is there a very easy way to this? Would it cause conflicts with anything?

It should already be like that if you chose Canada as your location.

Anyway, in Control Panel click Regional Settings, then in the drop-down box select your country, then click Customize and select the format you want.
