Date not showing in system tray with vertical taskbar

    If the taskbar is horizontal, the system tray (notification area) only displays the time. However, when I dragged my taskbar to the side to make it vertical, my system tray displayed the date ("Monday, August 23, 2004") in addition to the time.

    However, I just noticed that the date disappeared. I don't know what I clicked or how it happened, but how do I get the date back? Thanks!
