DDR2 vs DDR3

if i was gaming would it be better to get DDR2 or 3? i will be getting 8 gigs

 

It depends on what you're gaming. DDR3 is the faster memory. Most games you play except for the newest and most demanding aren't going to have any problems at all on DDR2 tho. You'll pay a little more for DDR3, but then on the other hand you'll be better future-proofed. If you've got the mobo to support it and plan on playing some intense games, I'd say get the DDR3.
