Delayed Write Error Windows XP

One of my coworkers getting a delayed write error sporadically in xp. Steps i have done.
1. Run a diagnostic on the hard drive.
2. turned off enabled write caching.

It keeps popping up sporadically the message

I'd step back and take a look at how background processes and drivers might be having an impact on this. One bad driver, a large Outlook PST open ...

 

OK i will look at the drivers. No outlook on the machine. Lotus notes.
