Windows 10. I am backing up to an external hard drive, and it's quickly filling up.

The directory is Data > $OF, and there are several hundred files there.

Is it safe to delete any of them?

    Thank you.

Only you know - by opening the folders and looking - what that data is and whether you need it or not. If the external drive is filling up with data you have purposely saved, and you need it, then you just need a new external drive. If the data is duplicate information, then delete what you don't need.
