Open up ccleaner> click on cleaner> go to application tab> look down a little and look for macromedia flash player> untick box

I see it on mine. Do you have macromedia flash player installed? Once you do it should show up.

i used killbox to uninstall remnants of flash player after it quit working per their site instruction, rebooted then downloaded flash player & that's the screenshot of ccleaner afterward. maybe i should reinstall ccleaner?

When you said downloaded did you mean install? If you dont have it currently installed then install it. If you do the re-install ccleaner.

yep, installed flash player & games work fine, just can't delete temp files cuz that's when it quits working. unistalled ccleaner & reinstalled same, still doesn't show flash player as one of the applications. weird lol! did search on my pc for flash, it's located in system32 folder & couple other places. i'm just trying to understand why deleting IE temp files causes flash player to quit working?

there's a whole thread on the ccleaner forum about flash player not showing up in appl. downloaded & installed v8 beta anyway.

Flash player is an IE plug in and can be deleted along with the "downloaded program files" are you sure your not deleting those as well?

i had unchecked "downloaded program files" also, but since i've installed v8, it shows up in add/remove programs & when i delete temp files, flash player is still functional. go figure lol :) thx 4 all the replies!!

i use ccleaner and IEPrivacykeeper both are good. I find that IE in my opinion is a bit better now that it works on firefox and mozilla. Yet, I use ccleaner just cause it's good and it has a right click at the recycle bin to get it to perform. Lastly, I keep IEPK cause it has a secure delete function that is very very good.
