Dell Desktop F2 Setup Error---help

Yea Im a chick with very little computer knowledge. But in reading your posts I've learned a lot. Unfortunatley it did not fix my problem.

Look familiar F1 to reboot F2 setup system
Now I can't give you details about cpu, fan, mb, ram because my computer isn't working.. All I can tell you is that i have had it for 3 years it is a dell xp and it has been working great until tonight. All I get is F1 F2. I'd like to tell them where they can put there "F"! Anyway, Bottom line- I have read and tried every one of the suggestions on your sight and nothing helps. So I am giving it 1 last ditch effort for any of you Geeks out there that can help me!

I have 2 years of MBA school work on that hard drive and if it's gone I'm SCRE---wd!!!! I appreciate any help.
