    Hello everyone!!
    Newbie here!

Please can someone offer assistance ,
I have a 5-6 yr old Dell 5150 PC, I cannot connect to the Internet ,Bt my ISP provider have told ,me that I appear to have an issue with my LAN card/driver,

The issue is complicated by my lack of knowledge!!!
I've looked inside the tower and it appears I have a driver not a card?

Reading various posts it would seem that some are mentioning reinstalling drivers ? How do you do this without an Internet connection ?

Sorry for being a bit slow ,I've a basic knowledge but would appreciate any help on this please

    Many thanks

    Hi

As you have mentioned the Dimension 5150 model I would hazard a wild guess you are using Windows XP (if not then do tell us which one)?

But if you are using Windows XP then install the Chipset driver HERE and reboot (crucial to reboot) then install the LAN driver HERE, reboot and test.

For reference all your drivers are HERE for that 5150 model
